OCD and Anxiety Therapy in California

Problems with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders may keep you stuck and prevent you from experiencing happiness and reaching your full potential. You might avoid important activities or be consumed by thoughts and compulsions that get in the way of feeling present in your life. Life can be challenging, and we aren’t always given the support and tools we need to overcome those challenges. I'm dedicated to providing effective therapy for OCD and anxiety, in a caring and supportive environment.

I'm an experienced psychologist with a passion for helping people suffering from OCD, Anxiety Disorders and Trauma. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to evidence-based treatments that pave the way for meaningful change. Additionally, therapy is always adapted to your individual needs and concerns, and we will work collaboratively throughout treatment. My goal is to help you achieve results as quickly as possible and teach you the tools to be your own therapist.

About Magdalene Holtam, PhD

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of California (PSY 23823). With over 20 years of experience in the field of psychology, I have dedicated my career to helping adults just like you reclaim their lives from the grip of OCD, anxiety and trauma.

The majority of the patients that I work with are struggling with OCD or anxiety disorders. I have spent years honing my skills in these areas because I believe that everyone deserves a chance to live a life free from the constraints of OCD and anxiety. My mission is to help clients make positive changes in their lives using research supported treatments. These therapies are designed to empower you with the tools you need to face your fears, challenge negative thought patterns, and ultimately reclaim your life from anxiety and OCD.

In addition to my clinical practice, I also offer consultation to professionals seeking training in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders.

Within my practice, I am committed to delivering services that are culturally sensitive to all individuals, including people of color, immigrants, women, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
